Round Rock Chamber Partners with gener8tor, Kicks Off Inaugural gBETA Round Rock Accelerator

ROUND ROCK, TX — The Round Rock Chamber, in partnership with gener8tor, proudly announces five innovative startups selected to participate in its inaugural gBETA Round Rock startup accelerator.

They are: Formus; Longhorn Life Sciences; ThreatVisor; TillerXR; and XPerf.

This cohort was selected from a competitive pool of 60+ applicants, demonstrating strong interest in the program and the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit in the region.

Over the seven weeks of programming, the cohort will participate in:

  • Mentor Swarms – Weekly “speed networking” sessions connecting founders with 25+ mentors, investors, and executives across Central Texas.

  • Lunch & Learns – Targeted workshops on topics like Customer Discovery, Revenue Models, Fundraising Fundamentals, and Startup Legal.

  • Weekly One-on-Ones – Tailored strategy sessions with gBETA staff to refine business models, growth metrics, and investor readiness.

  • Community Engagement Events – Including a Kickoff Breakfast, Round Rock Innovation Mixer, and the culminating Startup Showcase, where founders will pitch to investors, partners, and the broader community.

The Round Rock Chamber enlisted gener8tor, a global venture capital firm and startup accelerator, to launch the program. Through partnerships with local universities, civic organizations, and ecosystem leaders in Round Rock, gBETA Round Rock aims to support early-stage entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds; attract investment and talent to Round Rock’s growing innovation district; bridge opportunities between Austin’s startup density and Round Rock’s emerging industries; and showcase Central Texas as a model for inclusive, sustainable economic development.

This marks a major milestone in the region’s growing entrepreneurial landscape, bringing together founders, mentors, investors, and community leaders to establish Round Rock as a vital node in the Central Texas innovation corridor.

“Round Rock has always been a city that builds; from technology to education to entrepreneurship,” said Jordan Robinson, President and CEO of the Round Rock Chamber. “Programs like gBETA accelerate that growth by giving founders the mentorship, access, and visibility they need to thrive. This partnership represents our shared vision of making Round Rock a recognized hub for innovation and opportunity in Central Texas.”

“Our mission is to make Round Rock a magnet for entrepreneurial energy,” said Destin George Bell, Program Manager for gBETA Round Rock. “Each of these startups reflects the ingenuity, grit, and diversity of the founders shaping the next generation of Texas innovation. Through our program, we’re connecting them to the people and resources that will fuel their growth.”

“We believe Round Rock can become a top destination for founders who want access to world-class talent and mentorship without leaving their community,” added Bell. “Our vision is to build an ecosystem where innovation thrives right where the people of Round Rock live, work, and create.”
