Accelerating the Next Generation of Frontier Tech

Since 2012, gener8tor has helped founders turn bold ideas into lasting companies. In frontier tech, that means working alongside the universities, federal agencies and industry leaders advancing AI, robotics, advanced materials, cybersecurity, carbon removal and engineered biology, and giving founders the capital, pilots and investor access to move from lab to market.

From the Lab to a Fundable Company

The hardest technologies start in university labs, and most never leave them. gener8tor Research to Startup is the pipeline that changes that: a national program that finds high-potential research teams, helps them evaluate commercial potential, and connects them with the accelerators, venture studios and investors built for early-stage founders.

Faculty, postdocs, graduate students and spinout teams working on IP-based technologies in deep tech, life sciences, software, climate and advanced manufacturing get market validation, mentorship, investor introductions and pitch preparation, in partnership with their university's technology transfer office. No company required to start the conversation.

No cost. No equity to talk. Nationwide, with programs across the U.S. Open to researchers and spinout teams with early validation, from pilot data to working prototypes.
