gener8tor Founder Series Spotlight: Alex Linebrink, Passage

In this episode, we’re featuring Alex Linebrink, Co-Founder and CEO of Passage, a Detroit based event technology platform powering ticketing, payments, and event operations for thousands of events and millions of fans each year.

Alex went through one of gener8tor’s earliest accelerator cohorts in Madison in 2015, an experience that became a turning point for him and his team. The program gave him something critical: total focus. By stepping away from distractions and fully immersing himself in the accelerator, Alex and his team were able to move the business forward with greater clarity and momentum.

Beyond execution, Alex highlights the power of the gener8tor network. From long lasting relationships with fellow founders to an early connection that led to an investment, the network helped unlock Passage’s expansion into semi pro and minor league sports.

Alex’s advice for founders considering an accelerator:

  • “Go all in. Have faith, stay focused, and use every connection you can.”

Alex’s journey is a clear example of how focus, community, and the right support at the right time can shape a company’s trajectory. From an early accelerator cohort to scaling a platform that supports thousands of events, his story reflects the long term impact of founders who fully commit to the process and continue to leverage the power of their network as they grow.
