gBETA Oklahoma City Selects Five New Startups

Accelerator Program Welcomes Eighth Cohort

Oklahoma City, Okla. – Five Oklahoma-based companies have been selected to participate in local startup accelerator gBETA Oklahoma City. They are: Clotshield, DeaconTech, ENF Products, Mozzie Style, and PulmoPrecise. See below for more information about them.

The program is offered by global venture firm and startup accelerator gener8tor, in partnership with the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, Inasmuch Foundation, Love’s Travel Stops, Oklahoma State University, and Square Deal Capital. gBETA Oklahoma City kicked off its eighth cohort May 15.

gBETA Oklahoma City is a free, seven-week, no-equity accelerator program providing startup founders with intensive concierge coaching and access to its national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors. The program is designed to set a path for startups to participate in equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities.

gener8tor recruited startups across multiple industries for the gBETA Oklahoma City program, with a specific focus on Deeptech and companies across state universities, in an effort to support earlier stage, homegrown companies in Oklahoma City. The companies were selected based on their growth potential and innovation in their industry spaces.

Since inception, gBETA Oklahoma City has successfully supported 35 companies, which have collectively raised more than $1.87 million in funding.

“gBETA and their hands-on approach with founders has already brought immense value to the Oklahoma ecosystem in the four years it's been activated here,” said Tim Doty, Vice President of Corporate Development and Growth at Love’s Travel Stops. “We are proud to partner with gBETA and look forward to the next round of innovation cultivated right here in the community through mentorship, workshops, and strategic connections."

Together, gener8tor and its Oklahoma partners aim to bring economic diversity and job growth to Oklahoma City.

“I’m thrilled to work with a new group of startups for our spring cohort,” said Kristen Gibbs, gBETA Oklahoma City Program Director. “The economic impact of the work we do with startups in Oklahoma City is undeniable. This is a great group of innovative companies focused on impact, and I’m excited to be a part of this burgeoning ecosystem.”

At the completion of the gBETA program, founders from the Spring and Fall cohorts will pitch their companies to investors, community partners and the public at a showcase event in the fall of 2025.

Startup companies and founders interested in learning more about gBETA’s programming and resources or applying to a future program are encouraged to visit the gener8tor gBETA website or reach out to Program Director Kristen Gibbs at kristen.gibbs@gener8tor.com. Those interested in mentoring companies or getting involved in other ways are also encouraged to connect.
