Bronze Valley Investment Accelerator Invests $500K into Five High Growth Startups

The full Spring 2025 BVIA Cohort gathers with the gener8tor and Bronze Valley teams to kick off 12 weeks of intensive growth, mentorship, and community in Birmingham.

Spring 2025 Cohort Launches in Birmingham with a New Class of Founders

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Five innovative startups have been selected to join the Spring 2025 Bronze Valley Investment Accelerator (BVIA), powered by gener8tor. Each startup will receive a $100,000 investment and participate in a 12-week intensive program designed to accelerate growth, access capital, and connect with Birmingham’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This year’s Spring cohort includes:

  • Aleoop – Revenue intelligence platform that converts sales feedback into actionable product insights for B2B tech teams.

  • BalanceAI – EnergyTech company optimizing energy use in multi-family housing with AI-powered control of building systems.

  • Feedcoyote – Global freelance collaboration platform with over 100,000 users.

  • NYAD – AI platform automating manual troubleshooting in industrial wastewater treatment.

  • Transition – AI agents for trade and career schools that automate student enrollment, support, and job placement.

Each founder has relocated to Birmingham to participate in the program in person.

“From climate tech to AI-driven education, this cohort brings market-ready solutions and impressive early traction,” said Haley Medved Kendrick, Senior Managing Director at gener8tor. “Each founder brings deep domain expertise and a clear path to scale. We’re excited to help them sharpen their strategies, secure major deals, and raise the capital needed to grow.”

The investment accelerator, a component of the Bronze Valley VentureLab, is a partnership between venture capital platforms Bronze Valley and gener8tor that supports high-growth, innovative companies. The program received over 450 applications for the Spring 2025 cohort, highlighting its national reach and appeal.

In addition to capital, founders will receive 1:1 coaching, access to over $1M in perks, and connections to 100+ mentors and investors through the gener8tor network. The program culminates with a Founder Showcase and Investor Swarm in June 2025.

“We’re investing in founders building high-upside, scalable businesses,” said Neill S. Wright, President and CEO of Bronze Valley. “This cohort demonstrates the kind of commercial potential and execution ability that drives real venture returns. Through BVIA, we are unlocking opportunities others have overlooked—and proving that great companies can come from anywhere.”

The accelerator is made possible by partnerships with Innovate Alabama, Alabama Power, Regions, First Horizon, BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama, Spire, Pinnacle Bank and PNC Bank.
