We focus on technology startups: technology, web, software, Internet, SaaS and hardware companies. gener8tor works with the startups in its portfolio to create successful, scalable companies.
gener8tor is backed in this effort by a successful team of entrepreneurs and business people with over 150 years of combined experience in creating companies, jobs and wealth. gener8tor’s goal is to be recognized by entrepreneurs and investors as the best choice for creating and accelerating a startup company. We will accomplish this by formalizing our services and continuously evaluating the effectiveness of our methods. Making money and creating jobs are byproducts of our combined efforts.

What the program looks like
gener8tor offers a plethora of services and support every step of the way. We help take you from the “I have a great idea” stage all the way through to helping you get financing to scale your company. We do this with speed in mind at every step. The entire process is designed to help figure out if the public (customer) agrees that the idea is good and solves a real problem. Ultimately, the market has to adopt your product/service. Following lean startup methodology, startups are encouraged to “build, measure, learn” as quickly as possible. We look for the best people that have the ability to turn ideas into companies. We’ll provide you with capital, office space and surround you with fellow entrepreneurs, mentors, industry experts, service providers and anyone else you need to get off the ground and grow. This happens during a gener8tor-funded, high-energy 12-week curriculum.

Much more than space…but we have that, too
We have 2 locations in the heart of the ‘entrepreneurial corridor’ in Wisconsin, one in Milwaukee and another in Madison. Our Milwaukee location is in the heart of the vibrant Third Ward, and is the entire top (5th) floor of a re-provisioned Cream City brick factory space. This inspiring building is perfect for the gener8tor team and you can feel the history as soon as you walk in. It’s an exciting, energized place with a constant buzz.
Our Madison location is also in the heart of the action – right on the main Capitol Square. This space is also located in an area that offers constant inspiration and is easily accessible for visitors and team members alike. It’s also directly above Starbucks, so those late-night work sessions will be more effective.
