What to Expect
This program was created to support leaders across all industries no matter your role or experience with technology. Each participant can earn industry recognized certifications upon completion of the coursework and exam. This training is specific to employees of companies located in Lunenburg, Brunswick, Mecklenburg, Halifax, or Charlotte counties in Virginia.

Use Case Project
Develop and implement ideas to bring AI innovations into business through design thinking workshops and hands-on work on a real-world work or personal project, culminating in a 5–7 minute presentation to peers and guests.

Are there any requirements or eligibility criteria?
You must have access to a computer and internet, have a LinkedIn profile, and must be employed and living or working in the five counties listed above.
Can I complete the program 100% virtually?
Yes! All programming will be virtual to make sure you are able to participate in a format that works well for you.

It’s a 6-week virtual experience designed for leaders, managers, and decision-makers who want to innovate boldly, work smarter, and harness AI to improve personal and professional productivity.

You’ll gain the skills and confidence to apply generative AI tools in your daily work and decision-making, and explore how AI can improve personal efficiency and creative problem-solving.

What are the application dates and when does the program begin?
Applications are open January 12 to March 27, and the program begins April 29, 2026. Limited spots available.
Once I submit my application what can I expect?
You will receive confirmation that your application was submitted and our team will be in contact with you via email to confirm if you have been accepted into the program within the first week of April, 2026.
