This program is fully funded—there is no out-of-pocket cost to participants. In fact, a completion stipend will be provided to all participants who successfully finish the program. Eligibility is based on completing a formal application process, and you must live or work within the Bay Area Workforce Development Board’s designated service region including Brown, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, and Sheboygan counties.

What to Expect
This program was created to support leaders in manufacturing no matter your role or experience with technology. Each participant can earn industry recognized certifications upon completion of the coursework and exam. This training is specific to leaders in Wisconsin.

Answer: Participants must have access to the following:
A computer or laptop with reliable internet access
A LinkedIn profile (required for assignments and networking)
Personal access to any free online tools used in the course (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva, Miro, etc.).
Note: No software licenses or paid subscriptions are provided by the program.
We’ll primarily use tools that offer free versions—but it’s your responsibility to check your company's tech policies and data security restrictions.
Question: Will I need to download or install anything?
Answer: No heavy downloads—most tools are web-based. However, you may be prompted to create accounts or enable browser extensions for specific sessions.
Question: What if I don’t have a LinkedIn profile?
Answer: You will need to sign up for a free profile to prior to the program starting and will use it weekly. Premium access is not required.
Question: Do I get paid to participate?
Answer: You don’t have to pay to participate. We encourage you to discuss the details of your schedule and pay with your employer. At the end of program completion, a $200 incentive will be provided directly to the participant by Bay Area WDB.
Question: Is this training during work hours?
Answer: The training is virtual and built with working professionals in mind—sessions are scheduled to avoid major disruption to your 9-to-5. You are welcome to start planning now and reserve 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm every Wednesday and Thursday for 6-weeks from the start date noted on the top of the page.
