gener8tor Founder Series Spotlight: Vedant Peris from aloeVR

Vedant Peris aloeVR Founder

In this episode of the gener8tor Founder Series, Troy Vosseller sits down with Vedant Peris, Founder & CEO of aloeVR, to discuss how his company is using virtual reality to promote youth mental resilience.

Based in Las Vegas, aloeVR creates VR experiences that give children accessible, bite-sized mental health breaks. The company currently works with 20 schools across the U.S., along with pediatricians and therapists, and has generated over $165,000 in revenue while raising more than $250,000 in funding.

Vedant shared how aloeVR recently joined the Prosper HealthTech Accelerator Powered by gener8tor in Birmingham, Alabama. The program not only sharpened his fundraising and sales strategy, but also expanded aloeVR’s reach into healthcare. During the accelerator, aloeVR secured two major deals:

  • Spring Valley School, where its VR program will support neurodiverse students and expand clinical research.

  • Cahaba Health, a healthcare provider that will help the company navigate Medicaid billing codes and expand distribution through therapists and pediatricians.

Reflecting on the experience, Vedant highlighted both the community of founders and the powerful lessons gained from local business leaders and civil rights history in Alabama. His advice for other entrepreneurs entering accelerators is to focus on balance, self-care, and what he calls the “three Gs” of gratitude, grace, and grit.

Looking ahead, Vedant is seeking connections with investors in education and healthcare, along with passionate hires in operations or software development to help scale aloeVR’s impact.
