Rutland, Vt. – Rutland’s flagship accelerator program is back for its second year, as global venture fund gener8tor and StartUp Rutland announce the Fall 2025 gBETA Rutland cohort. Earlier this year, the partners launched gALPHA Rutland, a free, four-week program that helps aspiring founders test and validate early startup ideas. Now, five companies have been selected to participate in the more advanced gBETA program: Spire, Aden Legal Education, Teleray, Burlington Bio, and Tuktu.

gBETA Rutland is a free seven-week accelerator program designed to set a path for startups to rapidly scale and pursue investment opportunities. Startup founders receive intensive coaching and access to gener8tor’s national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.

The five selected companies were chosen out of a competitive pool of both national and international applicants based on various factors including their growth potential and ability to be in Vermont.

“I’m thrilled to work with these five incredible companies on their growth,” said Mose Cassaro, Co-Founder and Director at StartUp Rutland. “Each is building something transformative, and their presence here underscores Vermont’s ability to attract and grow companies of national and global relevance. We’re not only preparing them for investment, we’re helping them commercialize technologies that strengthen America’s innovation economy and expand our region’s capacity to support the entrepreneurs of the future.”

The program is made possible through a partnership with StartUp Rutland, an initiative launched by the Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR).

“CEDRR and StartUp Rutland are proud to welcome another exceptional gBETA cohort to Rutland,” said Lyle Jepson, Executive Director at CEDRR. “These founders bring innovation, talent and entrepreneurial energy that will ripple through our economy and community.”

At the end of the program, the startups will showcase their companies in front of investors, community members and the public at a pitch event from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2025, at the Killington K1 Base Lodge at 4763 Killington Rd, Killington, Vt. RSVP at https://luma.com/3759zjws.

If you’re interested in mentoring these companies or getting involved, please contact Mose Cassaro at mose.cassaro@gener8tor.com. Startup companies and founders interested in learning more about gener8tor programming and resources or applying to a future program can visit the gener8tor website.
