Five Cincinnati-based Startups Join Spring 2025 gBETA Accelerator

gener8tor and CincyTech welcome the gBETA Cincinnati Late Spring 2025 Cohort

Cincinnati, OH – Building on the momentum of a successful cohort earlier this year, five more local companies have joined the gBETA Cincinnati startup accelerator cohort. Timing, Ecoshell, Futureheal, MetaMol, and TestU were accepted after a competitive application process, and kicked off the 7-week program earlier this month.

gBETA Cincinnati – a program by national venture capital firm gener8tor – is a free seven-week accelerator program designed to set a path for Cincinnati startups to pursue investment opportunities. Startup founders receive intensive concierge coaching and access to gener8tor's national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.

gener8tor received applications from across Cincinnati for the program. The five selected companies were chosen based on their growth potential and investor readiness. See below for more details on each company.

“We had some great momentum with the first cohort of the year, and I’m thrilled to build on that with this next exciting cohort,” said Amory Lenarz, gBETA Cincinnati Program Manager. “These programs provide mentoring and support for Cincinnati’s best and brightest founders, boosting the local economy and community.”

The program is made possible by a partnership with CincyTech.

"Investing in young companies and novel technologies is not just funding ideas; it is fueling economic and job growth and supporting bright talent in our region," said Emma Off, Chief Executive Officer and President at CincyTech.

The startups from both 2025 cohorts will pitch their companies to investors, community partners and the public at a showcase at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, at the Woodward Theater, 1404 Main St., in Cincinnati. RSVP here.

Startup companies and founders interested in learning more about gBETA’s programming and resources or applying to a future program can visit the generator gBETA website, or reach out to Amory at amory@gener8tor.com. Those interested in mentoring these companies or getting involved in other ways are also encouraged to connect.
