Five Oklahoma-Based Startups Selected for Accelerator

gener8tor, Inasmuch Foundation, Full Sail Capital, Square Deal Capital, Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma and Love’s Travel Stops welcome the sixth gBETA Oklahoma City cohort

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Five Oklahoma-based companies have been selected to participate in a local startup accelerator program. American Prime, Beacon, EduMonitor, Pawlush, and VaultBeauty will participate in the gBETA OKC program through national venture capital firm gener8tor.

gBETA OKC is a free, seven-week accelerator program designed to set a path for startups to pursue investment opportunities. Startup founders receive intensive concierge coaching and access to gener8tor's national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.

gener8tor received more than 50 applications across the world and more than 40 applications across the state for the program. The five selected companies were chosen based on their growth potential and investor readiness. See below for more details on each company.

The program is made possible by a partnership with the Inasmuch Foundation, Full Sail Capital, Square Deal Capital, Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma and Love’s Travel Stops.

Beacon is live at two casinos and has contracts to launch in the coming months at another casino, six waterparks, three recreation and one zoo.

Pawlush revolutionizes live-education through a platform that helps pet groomers train, illustrate services and connect with their pet-parent customers to dramatically improve salon outcomes. Pawlush launched in 2022 with a modern home-base salon to leverage $300k in 1st year ARR and growing while sourcing pets to create education videos, staff, & resources.

VaultBeauty connects clients with beauty professionals. Artists are able to showcase their work allowing clients to search by service/location and view photos, services and reviews. VaultBeauty is live in the App Store with 1,500 artists and 750 clients.
