gener8tor, Hendricks Commercial Properties, Irontek welcome gBETA Beloit cohort

BELOIT, WI - Five Beloit companies have been selected to participate in Beloit’s local startup accelerator program. 1Director, Betz Botz, FAST Medical, MTOP Enterprise, and Nommli will engage in the gBETA Beloit program through national venture capital firm gener8tor.

gBETA Beloit is a free seven-week accelerator program designed to set a path for startups to pursue investment opportunities. Startup founders receive intensive concierge coaching and access to gener8tor's national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners, and investors.

gener8tor received almost 50 applications across Greater Beloit for the program. The five selected companies were chosen based on their growth potential and investor readiness.

“The selection of these five startups underscores the depth of entrepreneurial talent that Beloit possesses,” said Anthony Swindell, gBETA Beloit Director. “We are excited to work with these dynamic teams and help them realize their potential while contributing to the economic development of the region.”

The accelerator program will offer the startups invaluable guidance in refining their business strategies, scaling their operations, and accessing potential investors. This initiative aligns with the city’s vision of fostering economic growth, creating job opportunities, and promoting innovation.

The program is made possible by a partnership with Hendricks Commercial Properties and Irontek.

Erin Currier, Director of Investment at Irontek and Grey Collar Ventures, is excited to continue the opportunities for entrepreneurs in Beloit.

“Irontek just implemented our Phase 3 expansion this year, and we would love to see the coworking space continue to be a cornerstone for entrepreneurs in Beloit,” Currier said.

At the end of the gBETA program, the startup founders will pitch their companies to investors, community partners, and the public at a showcase event at 6:00 p.m., on Dec. 13 at Irontek. RSVP HERE
