Direct connections to Tesla, Redwood Materials, Dragonfly Energy, NV Energy, Panasonic, and Nevada's other anchor companies. Not a list of names — actual introductions.
State government as your backer
GOED, EDAWN, and the Governor's office are program partners. Real access to the people who run Nevada's economy.
University lab & research infrastructure
UNR NCAR wet lab, UNLV research facilities, and federal grant pathways via the Nevada Tech Hub.
Federal grant support
SBIR and STTR access via the SAGE partnership. For deep tech companies, a funding channel most accelerators can't touch.
Investor introductions
Battle Born Ventures, Flume Ventures, Sierra Angels, Hard Yaka, FundNV, Uncorrelated Ventures, and a growing national energy investor network.
Entity formation & tax navigation
We walk you through Nevada's incentive stack: property tax abatements, sales tax reductions, data center credits, and more.
Weekly sessions that matter

The data, before the adjectives
Northern Nevada
The Tahoe Reno Industrial Center stretches across a landmass larger than the city of Denver. Inside it: the Tesla Gigafactory, one of the largest buildings on earth by footprint. Google, Apple, Redwood Materials, Switch, and Vantage Data Centers all operate here. Apple has invested over $4 billion in Reno operations. Vantage committed $3 billion to a hyperscale AI campus, with the first two buildings already fully leased. One company, Tract, pledged $100 billion to Storey County over the next decade.
NV Energy's CEO says the northern Nevada grid could quadruple in the foreseeable future. OpenAI has Nevada on its shortlist for a gigawatt-scale Stargate campus as part of a $500 billion AI infrastructure push. Positron AI, a chip company built right here in Reno, hit a $1 billion valuation in 34 months.
Nevada is the only U.S. state with an active lithium mine, and it holds the largest measured lithium reserve on earth. It is active across more stages of the lithium loop than any other U.S. state — from extraction and processing through battery manufacturing, deployment, and recycling. Battery manufacturing jobs here grew from roughly 100 to over 14,000 in a decade. Nevada manufacturing overall grew 83% from 2015 to 2025, versus a national average of 13%. Southern Nevada
Las Vegas became a major AI infrastructure hub in the last three years. Switch, headquartered in Las Vegas, has raised $20 billion in sustainable financing since 2024. Google has invested $2.2 billion in Nevada data centers, including a Henderson campus. A multi-hundred-megawatt pipeline is under construction across Henderson and Boulder City right now.
TensorWave was founded in Las Vegas in December 2023. By 2025 it had raised $150 million and hit a $100 million revenue run rate — the largest startup funding raise in Nevada history. Its 28-year-old CEO made Forbes 30 Under 30 for AI. Clean energy jobs in the Las Vegas metro grew 63% from 2015 to 2025, triple the national rate.
“The biggest surprise for me about Las Vegas is it's a small town. Life is about the people that you share it with, and Las Vegas is a great place to do that.”
Statewide
Data centers get up to 75% off property taxes for 20 years. Projects over $1 billion unlock 15 years of sales tax reductions. Nevada's GDP is $269 billion — larger than Greece — and it ranks #11 fastest-growing economy of all 50 states. It's 3.5 hours from San Francisco by car, with direct flights from everywhere via Reno-Tahoe International (RNO) and Harry Reid International (LAS).
The most influential names in tech are choosing Nevada
Not as a tax move. As a bet on where things are heading.
Sergey Brin made the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe his primary residence in 2025, purchasing a $42 million Crystal Bay estate and converting seven California entities to Nevada. Larry Ellison has assembled a compound in Incline Village on Nevada's Lake Tahoe shore. Mark Zuckerberg owns property in the Tahoe region. Ben Horowitz lives in Las Vegas. Andreessen Horowitz reincorporated in Nevada in 2025. Elon Musk reincorporated X in Nevada in 2023.
California's billionaire tax is accelerating a shift that was already underway. The founders paying attention are moving before the crowd.
Northern Nevada: the outdoor capital of the West
The Lake Tahoe region has the largest concentration of ski resorts in North America — fifteen within range of Reno — plus more than 300 days of sunshine a year and world-class mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. Lake Tahoe is the second deepest lake in the U.S. and one of the clearest bodies of water on earth. Reno is like a little Denver, and Truckee is the mountain-town equivalent of Boulder, with better city access and a major airport 45 minutes away. Reno is ~3.5 hours' drive from San Francisco and Silicon Valley. The mountains aren't a weekend trip. They're your backyard.
Las Vegas: the world's entertainment and events capital
Vegas has one of the most connected airports with Harry Reid International (LAS) and direct flights from everywhere. CES, the world's largest tech conference, runs every January in Las Vegas. Formula 1 Grand Prix. Super Bowl host. 2026 FIFA World Cup host city. When you need to host an investor dinner or close a deal, nowhere on earth competes.
Build a generational company here. Live like it too.
